Our goal is to maintain a space for black men to develop relationships through discussing books that tell truths about our culture, perseverance and contributions to society. We support writers who present Black protagonists and / or help improve our knowledge and community.
Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison is a powerful novel that weaves together themes of identity, family, heritage, and the African American experience. The story follows Milkman Dead, a young Black man growing up in Michigan, as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery.
